Christmas Fundraiser
The Rec Leadership students are organizing the second annual Christmas fundraiser scheduled for Saturday, December 8 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. The gymnasium and cafeteria will be used. The events planned include pancake breakfast, silent auction, Christmas crafts, bake sale, children's games, and pictures with Santa! All proceeds will go to Nelson Salvation Army and Nelson Kidsport. Stay tuned for details!
Massage Therapy Clinic
Local massage therapist, Christine Sutherland, will be coming in to teach eight Rec Leadership students to massage on December 4th at lunch. The group will go then and massage seniors at a date TBA (third week in December).
Christmas Gift Wrapping
Many students have signed up with Bruce and Sherri Halstead to wrap Christmas presents, and help with Santa photos in the mall from this weekend until Dec 20th. Our International students will be assisting, too!
