Mission Statement (What do we do?)

To provide educational opportunities in a student centred, flexible educational environment.

Vision (Why are we here?)

To enable learners to pursue their educational goals according to their unique needs.

LVLC is committed to...

  • being encouraging and understanding of each student's unique learning needs
  • establishing mutual respect between student, teacher, administration, and school
  • reviewing student progress regularly
  • encouraging life-long learning skills
  • assisting students in program planning in order to fulfill graduation requirements
  • providing variable pacing for the completion of courses
  • determining if students is a full time LVLC member or part-time (via a blended program)
  • scheduling a suitable block for course depending on course and teacher schedule
  • supporting students in their courses/coursework
  • providing a quiet workspace
