If your last name is A to L, you will be meeting with Ms. Terlingen at lunch on Thursday at 11:45 to 12:15, if your last name is M to Z, you will be meeting with Mr. Machado at lunch on Friday at 11:45 to 12:15, please arrive on time, we will meet in the library. Anyone who didn't get a 2015 yearbook but wishes they had, we have a few left for a cut rate of $20.00. Please see Lorie in the office.
As requested, we will have a third bullet journal session this Friday at lunch in Ms. Kroker's room #309. The session is open to anyone interested in organizing their lives - even if you didn't come to the first two sessions, come check it out and we will help you get started.
Attention Cross Country runners: This week's race is on Tuesday, Sept 27, in New Denver. The bus will leave at 1:30 p.m. Please be sure to see your Period 1 teachers ahead of time for homework. More info about the race at Monday's practice.
There will not be a boys soccer practice today after school. The soccer practice has been cancelled for today but there will be a game Wednesday in Cranbrook. The bus is leaving at 10am from the school and you will be playing two games one against Cranbrook and one against Invermere.
A reminder that Friday, September 30th, is Orange Shirt Day. Please wear an orange shirt to remember the experiences of former students of Indian Residential Schools. This annual day is a commitment to ongoing reconciliation in Canada. For more information, please see the posters around the school.
Debate Club meeting will be held Wednesday September 28 at 11:45 in Room 102. All grades welcome!
There will be an assembly in the Gym at 10:30 am this morning (P3). Former Olympic Swim Champion Brent Hayden will be here to talk about the road to becoming a performance athlete and eventually make it to the Olympics. Classes will be called to the gym-reminder to not bring cellphones to the gym.
The annual Terry Fox School Run is taking place this Thursday during block 2. The Recreational Leadership class will be organizing this annual event. Students will be coming around to collect donations on Tuesday and Thursday this week during block 2. Please bring your loonies and Toonies to support cancer research and to continue with Terry's Legacy.
