The Nelson Youth Employment Center is hosting their first ever Career Fair and Information Session On Wednesday October 11, 2017 from 12:00-4:30PM. This event is an excellent chance to make valuable connections with employers and explore the labour market in the Nelson area.
Come on down to the rod and gun club this Thursday, October 5th, for a night of Mexican food, drinks, dancing, and music as well as a silent auction and raffle in support of earthquake relief efforts in Mexico. Tickets are $20 and can be picked up at El Taco or at the capital theatre box office and website.
There will be a Rotary Interact meeting on Thursday Oct 5th at 11:30 in room 210. John Snively will be giving a presentation on his dental project in Guatemala.
Are you interested in learning how to decortate cakes? A cake decorating Tutorial will be offered at the Nelson Public Library this Thursday, from 3:30-5pm.

Volleyball Intramurals happening! Check for your teams on the trophy case in the main foyer. Get ready for lunch time fun and entertainment in the gym. Spectators are welcome.The gym will not be open today and thursday.
Rotary Youth exchange applications are due this Friday at the office. If you missed the meeting last week applications can be downloaded from the rotary website. Interviews will take place on Oct 18th, at LV Rogers from 6- 9pm.
There will be a debate club meeting today at lunch in room 102.
Picture retake day is Friday, October 13th. You must pick up an order form from the office and bring it on re-take day with your order money enclosed for the photographers. If you missed picture day and just want your student card, you can come without an order form. There are still student cards in the office for pick up.
