Thanks to Columbia Basin Trust and Telus, the Nelson Public Library is able to offer a number of different tech workshop series for teens this winter. There will be a two part video editing course, part one will take place on December 6th from 7 to 9pm, and part two will be on December13th from 7 to 9pm. Register at the front desk - only ten spots available!
Reminder to International students and Intercultural ambassadors: there will be a lunchtime social gathering in room 211 at 11:40 on Wednesday.
All Ab-ed students are invited to a day of hide tanning in Winlaw on Thursday. We will be working with elk, deer, cougar, and sheepskins. Students should dress warmly and bring a lunch and a water bottle. Permission forms are in the ad-ed room.
The results for last year's Provincial Numeracy assessment have been posted outside the office and counselling area for grade 11 and 12 students. You will need your PEN number to get your scores. Any student who wishes to re-write in January will need to register with the office before December 6th.
Parents of French Immersion Students: The French Advisory Committee has an opening for one LVR parent representative. The committee will meet three times/year, 12:30 - 3 pm, Dec 4, and in 2019, Feb 4 and May 2. If you want to have a voice in French language education in our school, this is the best place to be!
