There will be a philosophy club meeting at lunch in room 102. We will be discussing when our guest speaker, a philosophy professor from Selkirk, will join us. We will also be looking at philosophy of mind this meeting. All are welcome.

The Kootenay Romanian relief fund is looking for two students to volunteer their time taking photos of kids with Santa at the Mall through December. The hours are usually 4 to 7 pm after school. These hours also qualify for grad transition requirements. Please see Mr. Machado for further details.
Students interested in volunteer opportunities should visit the Volunteer board outside the counselling office. This weekend there is a hospice opportunity to help the elderly. See Mr.Machado or Ms.Wiltshire for details.
If you're interested in learning how to DJ, there is a two part DJ workshop this November, put on by the Public Library. The first part will be on November 6th, from 3:30 to 5:30pm, and the second part on November 20th, from 3:30 to 5:30pm. The workshop is free, but only ten spots are available.
