Grads! The City of Nelson is once again offering free bus rides to all grads for any two days in June. Please come to the office to pick up your passes.
Congratulations to Mikaela Rubak-Mazur for winning the Advocacy Center art contest which consisted of students from all around the region. Also, to Bethany Pardoe who has been accepted in to Oxygen art center's juried exhibition this summer. Well done!
There is a Flint knapping workshop today in block1 open to all abed students. Also, on Thursday there is an all-day field trip to see the pictographs in Creston and harvest nettle. Please see Toni in the abed room for permission slips.
Grads Valedictorian nomination forms will be available at the office at lunch today; pick up a form, nominate a grad to speak on behalf of the grad class at the Cap and Gown Ceremony. Deadline for nominations is Thursday, May 10th to the Office by 3 pm
The "Cadence for Jonesy" team is challenging all staff and students to participate in this year's MS Ride to support those who suffer from the disease including our teacher Jonesy. The ride is happening this summer in August. If you want to help out by riding, volunteering at the event, or by donating online or in person, talk to Nolan Allarie or Jonesy in the media arts room or drop by the office for more information.
