There will be a "tune up" bullet journal session Thursday in room 309 at lunch. They are happy to help you start a bullet journal or just come and work on yours. Bullet journaling is an easy and effective way to organize everything in your life.
Grad grocery card fundraiser is on now. Order forms are available at the office, school webpage and Parent Facebook page. The Deadline is Friday Feb. 17 by 3:30 pm.
The Sr Boys basketball team lost a tough one in Creston last night. After leading 40-25 at halftime, the boys ran out of steam in the second half and fell 75-61. Alan Jin led the Bombers with 25 points, while Eamon Studer had 11 and Jona Caney had 10. Next up for the Bombers is after school on Thursday when they host Mt. Sentinel in the Hangar and the Sr. Girls host Castlegar at 5:00.
For students interested in attending the annual Shakespeare Festival, there is an important informational meeting today at 12:45 in the theatre. See you there!

There is an Anti-Valentines Party at the Nelson Library: Thursday, February 16th, 3:30-4:30pm. Had your fill of cheesy cupids? Same here - so we are going to decorate sweetheart cookies just for YOU (not your sweetheart) with fondant and write our own messages on them with edible ink!
Over the past months Kari McCulloch has been visiting LVR to give Meningococcal Quadrivalent Conjugate vaccine and Tetanus-Diptheria-Pertussis vaccine to the Grade 9 students. Thank you for submitting consent forms. If you are in Grade 9 and missed the routine vaccines, please call the Nelson Health Unit for an appointment at 250-505-7200. Bloom Nightclub is holding their first All Ages show.The show is hosted by Main Events and they are bringing in Snak The Ripper. It's on Feb.17th 7pm-9pm / Tickets 25$ and are available online. For all you kids wanting to come, the event promoters wanted to make sure you were aware of the fact that they want to throw more of these All Ages parties so please be respectful of the event space.
