Want an adventure in Quebec and earn credits toward your double dogwood? The Explore program is a five-week intensive French language program for Grades 11-12 students with any skill level in French. The program covers tuition fees for the course, instructional materials, meals and accommodation. Students can also receive four French elective credits to put towards their Dogwood Diploma. See your French Immersion teacher or the Office for details. Deadline for applications is February.
December is the critical month for applications to University- Mr. Machado & Mrs. Wilstshire will be offering a lunch time tutorial on managing your electronic transcript for admission purposes this Friday December 7th at 11:35 in room 106- please bring your PEN number for registration. Counsellors will entertain any questions that you need to help you take the next step- You can do this!!
Next week counsellors will be in the multipurpose room between 11:35- and noon on Monday, Thursday and Friday for anyone that needs help with admissions and transcript issues.
Schulich Leader scholarship is open for candidacy- This is a prestigious $100 000 scholarship for students pursuing Science, Technology, Engineering or Math but not medicine. Please refer to the Schulich scholarship website for details. If you are interested please submit your name in an email to Mrs. Malloff or Machado by Tuesday December 18th.
