The LVR book club is now reading The Glass Castle by Jeannette Walls. Have you read it? Do you want to read it? We will meet next Friday May 4th to discuss the first half of the book. Join in the discussion on this non-fiction novel of one families life. A must read book for sure!
So, you always wanted to try archery... The newest club, here at LVR is the Traditional Skills Club. It teaches students how to do a variety of traditional skills including archery. Want to find out more?
Come to the first archery club session today from 3:30-5:00 in our gym. No equipment is necessary, just bring your enthusiasm. You will also find out what archery opportunities there are in our community and beyond. This club is open to anyone in our school.
West Kootenay youth are invited to submit visual or media art work for a juried exhibition at Oxygen Art Centre opening in June 2018. We invite young artists to select finished work or produce new work that addresses the theme Wayfinding: Identity and the Kootenays. The call deadline is April 30, 2018.
