Looking for some new threads? Mr. McComb will be doing one more LVR bomber hoodie order. Order forms are in the gym or on the front counter of the office. If you missed the fall order, this is your FINAL chance. Hoodies are $40 and if you order this week you will also receive 12 good vibes for free.
A reminder to all grade 9 to 11 students that online course selections start this Friday and will run into next week. If you don't have a course selection sheet you can pick one up at the office. You should know which courses you will choose when we call you down to make your selections.
Students who have signed up for any AP Exams who have no yet registered must attend the Pre-Administration Session Today after school in Rm 211. Please bring an #2 pencil with you and see Ms. Malloff if you have any questions.
The Reel Youth Film Festival is coming to The Civic Theatre in Nelson! If you're a filmmaker 19 or younger, submit your short film at FilmFreeway.com/ReelYouthNelson ! Your film will play at The Civic on May 2nd and could even be screened at the Vancouver International Film Festival! The deadline to submit is Sunday April 22nd at midnight.
There will be no Freedom Quest this Friday, but Mandy will be back next week.
A representative from Concordia University of Edmonton is coming to LVR during lunch today to share information with students. Come drop by the information table in front of the office.
Today there is a workshop on bear totems block 2 this afternoon and Friday there is a workshop on arrow and dart making in block 1. Both events are open to all ab-ed students.
Any students needing volunteer hours or interested in doing community service, the Nelson Library needs helpers for a book sale. Contact Wendy Lacroix or come down to the counselling area and see information and contact emails on the volunteer and community service board. Next book sale will occur Saturday, May 12th.
Attention Jr. Girls Soccer Team! Today is the last call for grocery card orders!! Mrs. Burkart will be here today to pick up any remaining forms from the office, so be sure to get yours in! There will also be a brief meeting this friday at lunch in room 103

This would include writing, photography, and simply putting it together, this is an amazing opportunity and we encourage you to take part. Attention all grade 10/11 students, the nelson carwash has an exciting employment opportunity, you will work weekends and sometimes after school. Light duties include answering the phone, light cleaning, renting cars, customer service and more. You need basic computer skills and need to know how to drive. Apply in person or talk to Tyler Lakeman for details.
