Auditions for the Capitol Theatre's Summer Youth Production are coming up on Saturday and Sunday, April 14th and 15th. Saturday audition times are prioritized for those students attending Shakesfest, as they will be away on Sunday. Please contact the Capitol for more info and to book an audition time. 352-6363.
Current Gr 10 or 11 students-if you may be interested in a Student Trustee position with the SD8 Board of Education, please drop by the office to pick up an application and job description. This is a great opportunity to develop your leadership skills and to have a voice at the district level!

The LVR Mountain bike team is starting up! Newcomers are welcome and the only requirement is an ability to ride a bike. you need no previous mountain bike experience to join. We will be meeting in room 106 at the start of lunch on Friday to discuss our year end trip, racing, and events. You don't need to own a bike; there are 6 rental bikes for people in need. Rejoice! More Grad Talent Show audition slots have opened for Tuesday at lunch and Wednesday after school. The world will no longer be deprived of your odd, interesting, and entertaining abilities! Sign up sheets with specific times can be found on the trophy case outside the office, and please let us know if you will need anything specific (like an authentic 18th-century pipe organ, or just a piano) for your audition. THIS TALENT SHOW IS ONLY A FUNDRAISER FOR GRADS; STUDENTS OF ANY GRADE ARE WELCOME TO AUDITION. Remember that this is an audition and your act does not need to be polished to get a part. Come out and make some memories!
